Oil level not showing

2008 E550 AMG
Oil level not showing
I watched YouTube videos and read how to do it
turn on the engine on the 1st turn
goto outside temp and click reset 3x then turn into 2nd position
but it’s blank where it suppose to be ?
i changed the oil and never tried before plz help

what car do you have. the E63 does not have this function. can't speak in regards to the E55.

'99 and '05 E55 AMG
The following is for an 2005 E55.
For oil level do the following:
-Turn key to position 1
-Cycle through the folders until you see the one that has (mph/temp/service_due/oil level)
-Use the arrow buttons to cycle through the folder contents until you see "oil level"
-Turn key to position 2
-Oil level status will display after approximately 5-10 seconds

You're describing how to display bus voltage.
The following is for an 2005 E55.
For oil level do the following:
-Turn key to position 1
-Cycle through the folders until you see the one that has (mph/temp/service_due/oil level)
-Use the arrow buttons to cycle through the folder contents until you see "oil level"
-Turn key to position 2
-Oil level status will display after approximately 5-10 seconds

Pure speculation but if you have an E550 you have a traditional dipstick and you may not have oil level reading like the M113 cars.
