PSA: Brake Pads

I swapped out my (what looks like OEM pads) for EBC Yellow Stuff and my lord the brake pedal is fantastic now.
Easy and satisfying, highly recommended folks!

Any squeeking? Let us know how the brake dust is with them.

My wheels are a nightmare to keep clean due to the amount of dust the pads on the car put out.

Probably going to be dusty, and yes squeaking still there but less than OEM.

As i heard; "Yellow stuff" is more usable for track, and need to be heated to operate properly, but dusty,,

"Red stuff" is ceramic & better for daily use with almost zero dust,,

it will be great, if anyone can assure that..

I could be wrong, for example my pads could have been cheap Autozone stuff (but I'm pretty sure I had dealer records from the last brake job, so I'm going to continue thinking it was OEM).
But I'm here to tell you cold bite is significantly better on Yellow Stuff than what I had. A lot better, not a small difference.

Here's the maker's page: https://ebcbrakes.com/product/yellow...rt-brake-pads/

Truck Yellowstuff Sport brake pads are not rated as low dust but create lower dust to OEM pads.
These pads are a full FMVSS grade higher in friction level than most stock pads and as such will feel stronger on the pedal after install and bedding.
Basically what they claim above seems to be the case so far.

Im getting tired of the brake dust, does anyone know the Akebono numbers for the E63 W211 for stock rotors? No luck on the 2 places I checked, making me wonder if they ever made them for my car.

Yep. It sucks because I've used their pads before and was very happy with them.

E63 AMG 2007
I have the EBC red on my 2007 E63, 5000 miles without the first squeal, and way lower dust that what was on before. Performance is excellent too.
