E55 exhaust mod question
hey everyone so recently to go along with my eurocharged mid length headers I installed a 3inch x pipe for my secondary cats and did a resonator delete but the car still isn't as mean sounding as I want, I am seriously considering cutting my mufflers off as well but have a few questions.
1- does it gain/lose any power/tq
2- is it bad for the car
I have heard the YouTube videos of cls55 with the same mods and even a couple e55's and it seems to sounds amazing. Is this the right way to approach this or are their any other opinions. Like I said I don't mind drone or being loud and this is really a temporary mod till a set of c63 mufflers arises.
thanks

I had many different combos on exhaust setups.I ran long tubes only and they produce a more cleaner sound vs mids.I was not a fan of c63 mufflers this gave me the reason to switch up the setup to try to stop that tinny rasp they produce.
Many love that sound but to me imo makes it sound like a cheap pos ebay muffler for 30 bucks. One of the best sounding setups is cls muffflers, xpipe catless headers to stock resonator.
This will give a insane tone and while cruising whisper quiet. Also note,if you know about exhaust and setting up the car for max gains c63 can actually hold you back to them being smaller and more for a n/a setup..Hope this helps.
