Coolant All over Engine Bay
Hi all.. tried searching for this particular issue but no luck so far. Figure someone may be able to give me a hand here.
Took the car out for a quick grocery run and on the way back, I noticed quite a bit of smoke from the exhaust pipes. Few blocks later, the check coolant light came on. Fortunately that was just as I was pulling into the garage. Fumes had started seeping thru the hoodline as well. Pop open the hood and sure enough.. coolant was all over the place.
Took a peep into the reservoir and it was nearly empty. Tried pouring some more fluid in and as I did.. it just seeped back down to barely nothing. Engine temp gauge stayed within the normal range and the car wasn't run hard.
Will try and get a better look in the AM but any help is appreciated. Definitely a leak somewhere and I'm thinking the cooling system pressurized at some point sending this out like a spray nozzle from a water house. Not sure..

Anyone have trouble with some sort of a fitting or a hose at the back of the engine failing? On my 2013 G63 something under the intake, on the driver side appears to have failed. It’s pouring coolant out on the ground. I’m not sure if that’s the issue the OP had since the pictures no longer show up.
