Plz help purge valve hose!
Hello,
I own a 2004 e55 amg and I figured out few days ago that the hose coming from the purge valve or y58/1 sensor is not connected to anything. I have done hours of seaching on the net to see where it goes in but couldn't find the answer.
here attached a picture of the metallic hose. If anyone can help me with picture would be great!

thanks for your answer. do you mean the air intake manfold at the back of the supercharger? if yes where exactly because my mechanics guy is not able to find out the exact location. A rubber hose should connect this metalic piece with the engine. if anybody has a picture it would be great!

Reach your hand back around the engine. You should feel/find the matching metal tube attached to the rear of the engine at approximately the same height. I could not get a camera in there to take a photo nor do I know where it ends up. Does not show up in EPC but maybe my search powers are weak today.

Take off that surge tank. Its the screws on top and some clamps where it meets the supercharherr y pipe. The hose goes into the rear hard to see with it on ill find some pics to help.

Thank you for your reply. I will try removing the surge tank myself and check it. Could you tell me what is round black plastic on the last pics i posted. It is just next to the throttle body. It has some range of motion, it moves back and forward on less than a cm lengh.

Not sure what its purpose is. Movement is normal, the vaccum of the supercharger pulling air keeps its closed while the is running so unless its broken it wont leak.

I actually siliconed mine into place. I was told it shouldn't move at all. It's basically unmetered air going in at it will leak some.
The right way to fix it would be to pull the throttle body off and either replace the plastic part (which I don't really think is possible), to glue it in place (again that's what I was told on the forums), of to tap it and screw in a metal plug.
I siliconed it into place with the right stuff.

I couln’t get to anything with my hand after removing the surge tank. didn’t find any inlet as you described at the back of the supercharger. I guess that I should remove the supercharger and see if I find any. Here are some pics, any clues?

I have finally been able to connect it to the supercharger manifold but now I have experience weird issue. The car drive was very good, I was crusing at 100kph until I decided to floor the acceleration pedal down. At 160kph I removed my foot and directly after that the car lost power. Pressing the pedal again barely makes the cars moves and it begin shevering, very noticeble when the car is parked. I reset the throttle body but it didn't fix the problem.
Is it a coincidence after my purge valve hose been fixed? The car is shevering on idle but the rpm is steady!

Does it always do it or only after a hard run until restarting the car?
might have a vaccum or boost leak from surge tank (air intake) gaskets when u took em off?
