You know your killing the value more ?Not a easy car to sell now you see ,the market is strang with these cars! I hate to say this, many of these people looking to buy a e55 have a very low amount to spend and if its not in the 11 mark it’s very hard to flip these cars to them .Older people who buy them actually aim for the 05 and 06 models as there research has been done and they want to buy from a older person ..

lay off the detailing the leather and cleaning the car. Focus on something else. Besides no one will take into account how many times you have detailed it.

Not only that, if a buyer wants to scan the car and do tests on it I’m 100% fine with it.

Not at all. The leather should not be treated weekly. It's leather needs to breathe and not cleaned all the time otherwise it ruins it. Don't obsess over the car won't help the sale.

nah I won’t lay off of it, it’s well maintained. Nothing is wrong with it according to Star after testing every single function in the car. It’s clean inside and out. So no, I won’t lay off at how much time I’ve put into cleaning the interior and exterior. Sorry that it bugs you.

It isn't clean on the outside... You are messing it up for potential buyers. Just give up and go away.

They won't consider it at all because it looks rediculous. No matter how well maintained it is, they will move on. It looks like it is treated poorly because of the "mods" you are putting on it. It looks like an immature boy racer owns it and people assume it is driven the same way. Appearance is everything. You are making your car appealing to a market that spends less money. You can beat the hell out of a car and maintain it enough to pass such inspections.

Want some common sense? The mods are easily removable (spoiler, VHT nightshade on tail light, plastidip, and wrap center console) the car is bone stock and can be reverted to its original condition in 30 min

facts are facts these cars do have a very specific group that looks to buy them, an they are lookng for unmolested low mileage 05 to 06 an those are the ones seeing the mid teens in price. If you start adding young person touches while cool to you, are gunna scare potential buyers away. If a young kid owns a car like this potential buyers will assume hes treated it like a young kid does. Not saying you have its a general stereotype. An since you have stated your tryin to sell why not listen to the guys that have experience with these cars?

Hey there man .... point hes tryin to make is you dont want to over condition the leather it will ruin it. Second when making a post you have to expect the bad with the good .... this is a public forum so if someone doesnt like what your doing have to roll with it especially if your tryin to sell it.

I would never molest my car! How dare you assume that of me. I def Dont condition my leather every week, I guess I said that cause this week I did since it looked a bit dry/ashy.
