Questions on Lowering
Which lowering module should I go for? (Carlsson, Kleemann..) Aren't they basically all the same!? By the way I've heard H&R makes their own lowering module for mercedes, can anyone confirm this???
Is there any disadvantage lowering the car mechanically?
Are sportI and sportII setting still functional after the car is being lowerd?
Would I be able to raise the car by pushing that button like before?
Thanks
Just slip the MB shop foreman $50 to lower it via their computer.
Have you done this?
Sounds very interesting to say the least!

E55 Power, thanks for asking, isn't it weird that H&R makes springs for W211 E55 which has airmatic suspensions!?
Jimmy, what is the lowest setting you can go with the Kleemann module?
Thanks, E55 Power and Jimmy!

The KLEEMANN module is priced above the rest, because it has features no other module has- it's adjustable. The module will lower the car 35mm intially and is adjustable by the installer another +/- 15mm. The rear ride height is adjustable independetly, as well as the static (overall) ride height. The KLEEMANN module also includes a blanking plug to return the car to stock without having to re-wire anything, and all factory functions will remain in perfect working order.
Scenario 1:
KLEEMANN module was $1,990 as per earlier post.
I paid $2,478 for the CARLSSON module for my W211 E500. It has the bridging plug, and as well as the overall and independent rear adjustment.
Scenario 2:
EIBACH PROTRONIC is $1,450 for the S-Class.
BRABUS is $1,650 for their version of the S-Class module.
FACT: If you remove the EIBACH label on the EIBACH lowering module, you will find that it is made by BRABUS.
So I wonder if KLEEMANN's module is a re-badged CARLSSON?
Isn't CARLSSON a larger company than KLEEMANN???

KLEEMANN's module has been on the market since 2000- maybe your scenario is the other way around.
How can a W211 aftermarket suspension module (airmatic) exist 2 or 3 years before the car is released?
