Nice modifications and I bet it's quick! Have you had it on the dyno yet and are you running a standard canned tune or custom tune?

You'll probably catch some negativity for those air filters though. A few people have dynoed with/without those filters and have shown a gain when removing them.

I really dont know the power it makes. The tune was good for 650hp I think it came from Euro something. Merceds Specialist did that stuff.

I cant get any traction even with the new Goodyear tires.

As for the filters I rather keep them. Its like not wearing underwear!

Those exhaust tips are killing me. They stick out way too far.

Color is original an looks pretty good .... looks like a good wrap job, im digging it. The black grill as i stated in another thread to me on anything other than a black E55, i dont think the black grill looks right just looks out of place ... but this is a personal opinion.

I agree with oneslow55 that the rear looks too boy ricer ... to jdm not classy idk why but once again it doesnt jive for me, as long as you like it ... its all that matters. The tailpipes look fine when viewed from the side something with how that diffuser is .... its making the tailpipes look way out there from a rearward glance.

As for the mods to the car it self .... you stated the SC and engine were rebuilt .... who did the work ... did they upgrade the internals for ya? Why pay the money to rebuild the stock charger when you could upgrade to a weistec 3.0l SC and make much more power, run cooler, have better air intake, and look amazing??

Why on gods green earth go for mid length headers when a set of MBH or ARH would be miles ahead of them an give more power? You state 3 inch exhaust .... um its 3in from the factory from what i have seen i changed over from my stock to mbh long tubes with their mid pipe an it is 3in an mated perfectly to the rest of the system which when measured was 3in so hope u didnt pay extra for that. No such thing as a tune for 650hp lmao ... the tune is tuned for what the car can do and the mods it has not for a specific hp number if it makes 650hp then thats what it is .... if it makes 500hp then again its where ever it falls after the dyno. Sounds like you got a generic box tune because otherwise they would have been able to give you the rwhp numbers if it was a custom tune. I highly suggest installing a VRP vent aem gauge to monitor ur afrs as well.

All aside great car hope you can get it to a dyno soon would love to see what it makes. Wish my car would have worked with the 82mm tb had to many problems ... some nvr have any issues some do just nature of the beast.

This guy is full of ****. The exhaust pics I quoted should be enough to prove that. edit: You may be right. I'm still not seeing it though.

A buddy of mine has an old Chevy truck that's a similar color. We refer to it as Monkey **** Brown.

Shadow shows it sticks out more in the original picture.

I am just going off what the shop told me. This was VRPs shop car. and I just redid the whole thing for a lot of reasons. My wife drives it so I wanted it to be safe and not have to worry about things.

As for the tail pipes I guess pics just look funky.

I am waiting for a new pulley from VRP then going to tune it.

Thanks for the comments

I don't know. It looks to me like the tips stick way out in the original pics. Maybe I just can't unsee it now.

Masculinist much? Are you saying that a woman can’t handle this type of power? How dare you! Control yourself in this American household!
