E55 255 up front ???
I got a 8.5 front rim with a 32 offset I'm slapping 5mm spacers so it should be a 27 offset for a 255. I'm thinking about getting federal rsrr and they only have 245 in a 35 tire profile. Problem is those tires are more like a 255. From what I know about this car my setup should be far away from the brake so maybe I can run that tire Bc I know a lot of guys had issues with bigger tires Bc the offset was to high
I always get this mixed up but if your adding a spacer you are pushing the wheel farther out from zero/center hub and adding offset unless the offset of the wheel is really a negative number -- and I think it depends on the wheel manufacture if its a positive or negative number -- I have 255/40 on 8.5 with an oem 25 offset and seem to work fine - maybe someone can straighten me out
