03 e55 amg driveshaft spins when in gear, wheels dont
can anyone tell me whats going on? it makes a grinding sound also. heres a video of it...

You need a whole new rear end, hopefully the differential housing isn't damaged. And can be reused, but the pinion bearing, ring gear and differential is toast.
And this is going to be an expensive repair. Sorry....

If only the spider gears broke you may get away with just that... proly not though. They are {rear diffs} very easy to work on and you can have it out in a couple hours if you are mechanical. Same with the axles if broken.
Also I have a rear diff for later E55's but the axles are different. Something you can work with let me know. If needed I will send it to you.
