Programa VS Pros Cons?

I'm getting ready to start playing around with mods and the first thing is to spruce up the exterior a little bit. I purchased a set of rims, stud conversion kit and I'm looking into lowering modules. Are there any pro's or con's related to the Programa Lowering module? The only con I can see is that it is not simply pnp and apparently some threads say that the unit has a 20mA draw with the car off.

I also looked at lowering links but I like the idea of being able to raise the car on the fly. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Can't you adjust it more with the 4 rotary switches inside the controller? or are they strictly for fine adjustments?

I'm happy with my lowering links. The raise car button will bring it up enough that I don't have to worry too much about driveways.

I'm not one to really mess with the ride height once I have it set where I like. I currently want to bring the front end of my E63 down about another 1/2" or so. I won't touch it after it.

not sure what you're talking about. There are no rotary switches on the programma lowering ELM. You have a controller module connected via USB. You can lower the fronts by 5mm increments if I'm not mistaken. you can control the front wheels independently, but the rear is not.

Never a fan of links are it's like cutting springs on a Honda ..Only way is star from volts or using(secret dev mode) it can get crazy low any height you want without volts and least but not least invest in the programa,..

when you open the black box there are rotary switches within. this basically itself is the V1 of the ELM. i am not certain but feel that ELM's all have limitations on how much they can lower due to safety thresholds. they feel there is a limit on how much they allow you to lower to avoid incident. or maybe that is the limit on how much airmatic allows...

More then 1.5 inches max you will mess the bags up...This why star has the volts set that way for max lowering
