Has anyone driven a 7 speed yet?
How are the new 7 speed trans on the 05 E55?

I dont think the E55 will get the 7 Speed transmission for 2005. Maybe in 2006.

I could be wrong.

Drove a 7 speed E500 - thought the shift quality was a little harsh. I understand this has been addressed however. No 7 speed for AMG's though.

7 speed problems
I asked about the 7 speed from one of the service advisors at the dealer and I heard that they were having problems with them.
