despite spraying this fitting with PB 2 days before I started the job and using a line wrench, this flare nut stripped out. where can I get a new one?

You could probably cobble something together with generic parts from a hardware store, auto parts store, amazon, ebay, etc. Personally, I would just bit the bullet and replace the line with a new one from the dealer (unless it's really expensive). It is your brakes, after all...
