Car is at the dealer completing its PPI (after purchase PPI). Managed to get an appointment. The husband took it there for me and just called me. I’ve never talked to more serious person in my entire life. Totally Type A, and very annoyed that they are both running around doing errands for me. He’s def. the person you want to be buying a car from. Phone call was more than awkward. I thought I was talking to Christian Bale from American Psycho. I overheard from the mechanic, Brent, who the owner has known for 20 years say the car was amazing. He has never seen this car before either. He also has original tires it came with on Vossen rims with 6000 miles on them. In addition there is a set of custom made 7000 dollar rims and 2500 dollar tires also new that is available should I like them.

The owners tire/wheel guy just advised against including the original tires with the car due to age of them for liability reasons I assume. I’m gonna try to convince him to give them anyway. Sign a waiver perhaps 🤷🏻*♀️

If the tires have been sitting around for a long time you won't want to use them. Mount the rears and destroy them with a fat burnout.

+1 I wouldn't want old but unused tires, even for free.

If this is the one that was in Edmonton nice grab! I was talking with the lady but she didn't want to lower the price and I figured it would take a bit of cash to get upto snuff from sitting for soo long. I also just grabbed an E63 a few weeks earlier so couldn't justify 2 AMG but was tempted lol! Amazing mileage but I would budget to have fluids/belts/mounts and other possible maintenance done. I have had a few in the past and they love to be driven more so then be parked.

Fell for the selllers. Totally misjudged them. I will buy anything they sell now. Both of them class acts and true enthusiasts. Love em!

Great drive home. Barely any traffic with clear sky’s and roads.

I’ll get some more pics after I get it cleaned up from trip.

I’m in Canada actually. Gonna drive down California coast as soon as I get some time off though.

You think that's me in my avatar pic? Not even close buddy. I don't think I've ever posted a pic of myself on here.

I know it has 3M protection on front and about 1/4 of way up the hood and the mirrors also. I think I might get some more on pillars and rest of hood. Thanks for the suggestion.

Lamin-X makes good quality film for the lights. I've got it on the front lights on my E63 and am totally satisfied with it. It's pretty easy to put on too.
