How do the C43's run? C43 VS GS400

This morning I hired a new agent to work in my office. After we were done with paper work we went to lunch when we went to parking lot to leave I noticed his newer C43 I said wow nice car, he said yae and this bad boy is FAST. I asked can it beat a GS400 Lexus? I said lets see. ( he still does not know about my E55 it was in shop until late after non today getting lowered) Went for 3 runs 2 from a roll one off line.

First run had it by 4-5 cars from 3-90mph.

2nd run was a little closer he came from behind me on the run once at my door I pushed to floor slowly car stayed in 2nd gear while he did a 1-2 shift at my door on the run. I speed matched it they pulled on top on 3rd into 4th.

2rd run from a stop with his go got out in first but C43 2nd was strong at my door then hit top of 3rd maybe 5000 rpm and started to pull hard had 3-4 cars on him at top of 4th in the GS400.

by the way GS has 99,000 mile of foot to the floor driving. with not one problem not one. In fact seems to shift harder and leanout better then ever now.

E55
I can relate to that. Just sold a GS400 with 99k. Not one problem with the car. It would still embarass many mustang boys. A real bullit proof sleeper.

Hey how much you sell the GS4 for? I have mine and will be selling it before I receive the E55...

Funny how you bring this up...mine has 103k miles and I brought it in for inspection today, and the guy running it called me back and started asking me what I had done to it, etc etc. Only thing left performance wise on the car is the RMM exhaust. He tells me , wow this thing is peppy, more so than the others that come through here...

I told him , I assume its bc ive always used the car instead of driving it like a lincoln like the other 50 yr old owners....i keep all the carbon buildup out Not one issue here either. Sure enough, the car still has enough power to get me in trouble. We will see how the new beast handles it.

You will love the new power.

I have 9400 miles on my E55 now and now drive it with traction control off and what fun. Get the BFG drag radials on rear the first day you get car. Stock rubber is no good.

GS series are nice, so comfortable inside. Lexus tend to build high quality cars but many are turned away by their price tags
