But since you ask about lease, yes, you could definitely lease one for that too. You might have a large cap cost reduction to start, but it can be done.

Dr. Chill found North Texas Auto Leasing and apparently got his lease with no down ~$1000 mo, low money factor and high residual. I believe the leasing specialist name was Mike Latham.
You'll have to look around, but if you use MB Financing on an E55 costing ~$89,000 without tax, your monthly payments will be around $1500.

I think Chills lease was a little more than 1000 but it was less than 1200 per month including tax. You can do a search on his posts to see the exact numbers. From what I know residuals have dropped huge on 2004's in the last 2 months on the E55. Obviously banks are gearing up for the release of the 05's. Another thing to consider is that the E55 has a fairly big swing in MSRP based on options. You can get a bare bones E55 for around 80k with just a CD changer and Xenons or spend about 93k for every item. The problem is most leasing banks have an MSRP cap on the residual for the E55. Chase has a cap of 84100 and US Bank is even less so if you buy a more expensive version your payments will jump since there will be an amount not even residualized.

You guys are right. My car has only xenons and CD changer and the lease was for 48 mo, 12,000 mi/yr, $81,500 selling price (MSRP + TTL + paint/installation of spoiler/grille). The only thing out of pocket was $1000 deposit I paid when ordering the car.
Monthly payment $1091 plus tax.
Shopping around pays off.
MB leases are the worst. They claim to have the highest residuals but make up for that with the highest money factors in the business. They do not want you to buy the car at the end of the lease, they want you to turn it in to the dealer and pick up another car while you're there. They also offer to drop the last few months of your lease if you buy a new similar car.
