The internet is full of junk, and generic info,
Does anyone know what is the actual drive cycle to get evap ready for our 55s?

Yeah, these are GM/generic instructions, useless in our case.
This is what got mine ready today (except evap, as it needs cold start:

Im just assuming you are trying to pass inspection so i'll chime in with what I had to do annually with my old vw and audi. Their o2 sensors were ALWAYS an issue, engine light was on for pretty much the entire time I owned them.
Buy a Wifi OBD2 (I picked up Veepeak Mini Wifi OBD2 from Amazon but any one will do i believe) and download the iOBD2 app. Start the car, link up the app and OBD2, go to the readiness section. There you will see a whole list of stuff with yellow lights, those yellow lights will flip to green once it passes its particular tests (i think you can have one pending and it will still pass). Drive around doing that list of stuff everyone says (drive 0-60, idle 2 min, etc etc etc). Once the readiness lights up all around, get us *** over to get inspected quick since theres a short window before codes pop, get ur sticker, then drive around with the CEL on for another year and do it all over again.

I am using a hand held scanner, and waiting for all tests to be conducted, I was just wondering of the road test that will get these tests completed on demand, rather than randomly driving for a week until they are ready.
I posted a link above that helped me pass 7 of the 8 tests quickly. Evap is the only one not completing.

Not sure if it applies in your state, but here in New York 7 out of 8 tests being ready is good to go for inspection. For vehicles 2000 and older with OBD2 ports 6 out of 8 is good to go for inspection.
From what I understand, the same applies for Mass. - http://www.bostonglobalaction.net/
7 out of 8 readiness Monitors is good enough for inspection/emissions test.

It does, in MA I get a pass on one of 8 tests being not ready, as long as I dont have DTCs
however, i wanted to confirm EVAP is good to go before I start messing with exhaust; I am planning on using the get out of jail card with C (catalytic converter) being not ready
