Where to get Fuel Injector lower O-Ring plastic retaining clip?
Hey guys, welp pulling my SC off again to replace gaskets and bore out the snout. What do you know, I notice one of the injector O-Rings is missing. I found the O-Ring in the manifold but no sign of the orange-ish plastic retaining clip thing on the bottom of it. Boroscoped the top of the valves, not there. About to pull the plug and boroscope the cylinders. However I'd like to find out if any one knows where to get these things? Talking about this thing:
I can't find them on FCP euro, or any mention of them on the forums. Do they just come with the lower O-Rings maybe, or is it physically part of the injector and I just need a new injector maybe?
same thing happened to me. dropped two injectors and broke that part on both and i had to buy two new injectors. i got them off ebay for about 50 each with the bosch oem part number on the side of the injector.
Easy fix...been there ....done that. Small CIRCLIP / snap ring and works no problem as I did all 8 injectors because of this.. Will no come off and will hold o-ring. Actually the o-ring will stay secured in the bore so no worry's of it falling in anywhere.

10-4, thanks for the replies guys. I will search for a cheap rebuilt injector or maybe just go grab some misc snap rings and see what I can come up with.
I will check the parts store for some first, I'm going to be picking up replacement O-Rings anyways. If I don't find anything suitable I may take you up. Thanks very much
