Aren't you at altitude?! What pulley combo you running, and do you have headers or no?! Most I've ever got with a crazy stack is like 12psi at 5-8k DA ranges.

Maybe a different map sensor? Maybe the older map sensor will go limp and not the newer version map?

Did you replaced with newer version map sensor?

Your lucky you have the Weistec lower as they stopped making them. Would really like to have one as my crank is already pinned for it as well.

I’ve ran 68 fixed and saw 16.5, 72 fixed at 15, & currently running 70 scp at 15???? But there were a few times I went to limp mode with the 70. Not sure if it was a blimp but had to pull over and restart to get sc engage again. I’m doing stack 180/83 this week. I’m by the coast in So Cal so not sure what DA is average.

I was at altitude for a couple years, the last year and half been at sea level. Running a 77mm upper and 170mm lower. Yes I have custom LTH's and still trip the lean map in 4th gear.

If you able to read your boost you will probably be hitting that limo mode on the 3rd to 4th gear change. 3rd gear I will be in the 16psi range and then when changing to 4th it will be over 17psi and trips it. Obviously a cold day with higher than normal atmospheric pressure as well will give you a little higher than normal boost pressure. We getting quite hot here now so I'm interested to go test a couple of hits to see if it will still trigger under these summer conditions vs the colder winter we had.

Yea you right they don't make them anymore. I contacted them to purchase the 180mm ring but they don't even have that available.

The boost depends on your mods and air DA as well. For example, headers & Ported heads lower boost but any intake side mods will increase boost. So boost is very relative to DA and mods. Hard to compare boost from just a pulley, unless each car has same mods and DA at the time.

We always stock 70, 74, 77, 80 and 83 mm fixed pulleys going back from when we introduced this mod to MBworld about 8 years ago. Great, easy and simple mod; and yes it sure jumps boost! That instant power with no clutch slip is what really makes it fun!
