hi there, I have an 03 E55 with the defective valeo radiator. I dont feel like paying the $1000+ my mechanic is charging to swap the radiator instead I’d like to install a external trans cooler. I’ve been reading some threads about people installing external trans coolers in order to bypass the radiator for cooling of the transmission, this also avoids glycerol contamination of your transmission. for anyone who has done this I am wondering:

any recommendations on universal external trans cooler kits? i’m currently looking at the B&M supercooler

have you experienced any issues regarding leaking trans fluid?
