Correct Height of V8 Kompressor Fender Emblems?
Hi everyone,

Asking a favor - would anyone mind measuring the height of your factory 'V8 Kompressor' emblems on the front fenders? Asked my shop to install a new OEM emblem on one side and it now sits about .75 inch higher than the side I haven't touched (13.5" vs 14.25", measured from fender bottom). Would like to know which height is in fact correct as I can't imagine my shop just 'eyed' it. Thanks for your help in advance! 06 E55

Original (Plastidipped on car) emblem starts ~13.5" from fender bottom (metal part, excludes rubber strip):






Newly installed OEM emblem starts ~14.25" from fender bottom (metal part, excludes rubber strip)

i'm glad someone's asking this question. mine had its fender badges removed a long time ago and I can't understand why people do that

negative, it’s 14.25 at the top of the lettering. I’m measuring from that blacl rubber piece where the sideskirt meets the fender at the bottom...the top of the V8 is 15.0

I know someone that removed all badges because they were getting tired of every ricer trying to run with them....light to light,......getting cut-off to show "dominance" etc.

To clean in between the letters of course!
Mostly paint the fenders for sure.

Makes it it more fun without them on there, so when you bust some a s s they’re not expecting it!
