belt tensioner siezed antifreeze everywhere
I have a 2006 c55 AMG. I was driving down the road and all of a sudden the car went dead and steam came from under the hood. Upon inspection the belt tensioner had siezed and ejected the belt and the steam was from the antifreeze.
Why did the antifreeze come out?

There is usually a lot of collateral damage in these situations. Check all of the hoses for tears. If in doubt fill it up with distilled water until it pours out of somewhere.
