Are there any differences, and if so, what are they??

and in general, what are the differences between 2000, 2001, and 2002 e55, only things I noticed are:

- shifter changed for 2001
- 2001 got motorolla v60 phones instead of startak phone
- availability of ventialated seats for 2001

Parktronic not available in 2000.

Also check to see if Aux Input is in Glovebox for Comand W210 cars for 2000.

 

Pardon my ignorance, but should the 2001 have an aux input on the Command? How is it activated?

Look inside the glovebox in the lower left corner. I have never used it but the somewhere on the COMAND menu it can be activated.

 

Thanks for the reply - I did find it, but it is pretty well hidden. You have to hit the SVC button on the nav panel, and drill down from there in the menus.

Odd, given that there is an unused function buttion at the top of the screen (NAV/RADIO/CD/TEL,etc) but cool that it is there.

That button is the "TV" option for the lucky people in Europe.

 

the 01 has the ability to show the digital speed in the display, which the 00 did not.
