AMG Hammer
Sorry to all who may have read the same message on other forums....I've also put it on the W124 forum of MBWorld.
I thought I might ask the same question of you E55 guys
I've just purchased an AMG Hammer, manufactured in 1986. Its right hand drive and was supplied new in the UK and is an AMG conversion of the W124.
Car is fitted with a 5.0 or 5.6 V8 with AMG quad cam heads.
Theres not much information on Hammers on the web, they are a rare car, with just 13 W124 Coupe's being made (most ending up in the US) and maybe less saloon's/sedans......mines a saloon.
The car is a non runner at the moment as it needs a new engine block.
Has anybody out there got information on the Hammer and even better has anybody actually worked on one.
All help and information would be gratefully received.

Wasn't the guy who owns Renntech (Hartmut Feyhl) head of design on the Hammer? I'm nearly certain he was... give 'em a call.
