E55 Supercharger port
Hi Folks,
I purchased a used Supercharger off one of the brother members here and its almost start up time.
I prepared my engine well for boost and the install has been seamless up to this point.
There is an open port on the backside of the supercharger next to brake booster connection. Can I assume this is manifold vacuum?
mystery port
Any one have an image for proper fitting or source for proper fitting? Greatly appreciated
All the Best, Gator

I believe that goes to the valve cover. (Crankcase vent) You should seal the one with the red as they have been known to leak boost as they age. It is only used on the SL... or S, I forget which one.

This kinda makes sense,
I loaded the EPC pictures for E55 and purchased the Large rather expensive crankase breather pipe along with the noted plug.
So plug is normal for E55.
Thanks and Best Regards, Gator

This is the EPC plug going to install. also installing new booster pipe and fitting. #8 starves on all M113.

Yes it is, doesn’t go to valve cover. I just had to put this back into place after doing my VCG’s. Many have said it’s easy to put back in, mine was a PITA. Ended up just removing the surge tank so I could see.

Hmm!!
glad for the feedback you gents are full of Sprite compared to other forums.
I'm going to not plug it and find proper fitting for a manifold vacuum supply source.
All the best,
Gator
