E55 Estate Trunk Help

Hi! My E55 Estate (wagon) battery is completely DEAD. I need to get to the trunk, but locked out and nothing works. I tried the jump start method under the hood. Nothing. There is no key hole back there like the sedans. HELP! Thx

there’s no key hole next to the trunk handle on right side?

Not on the wagons. Had to fold rear seats down and climb through as the trunk cover was down. Luckly the front seats were up enough to actually fold down rear seats. Design flaw or just dont let your battery die!

Or you could hook up a jumper box or battery charger to the provided lead points under the hood and send more than enough power to power the hatch mechanism.

can you tell me where the lead point is located under hood? I never seen one for my 06 E55 sedan or couldn’t find one

Near the cabin intake is a black panel, about 4 inches by 4 inches, it has a big plus sign on it. Underneath is a copper post with a hex head on it. Above the right side suspension tower is an identical post that is covered by nothing, that's the ground (negative)
