remote tuning options

I live at 7000+ altitude and my bone stock E63 ran about the same as my MBH eurocharged V7 E63, I added the MBH kit and tune last year and wasn't all that impressed, and I am wanting to get the car running better. I spoke with EC about remote tuning but wanted to talk with people who have done it. I can get the dyno reserved, but did you then send the file and have corrections or were standing by to make the changes and send the next file after the next run? I am in NM and not too many options out here for tuning unless its a chevy or ford.

Road trip to Texas? You could do some datalogging on the street first to try and dial it in a bit more before going to the dyno. I seem to remember they charge a one off fee for the whole process but it would likely save you some dyno time.

That was what I originally spoke to EC about, just datalogging with a OBD2 deal but I don't think it reads AFRs unless I get a wideband sensor, which a dyno guy has. Austin is about 11 hours from me, I make the trip every year for the motogp but then I am tuning her for the wrong altitude.

Yes you will need a wideband. Your aftermarket headers probably have a 1/8NPT port anyway? You don't even need to do a permanent installation if you don't want to.
