2004 E55 Supercharger issue

Hey guys new to the form and E55. I have a 2004 E55 with 112,000km with completely stock no mods at all. I have just noticed a issue that when i wide open throttle it some times feel like the car hits a wall with power not being ablentongo faster (noticed it 140kmh). It has only done this issue once at low speed 30-40kmh.

Any help would be good.

Thanks Adam

Start with your IC pump.

Replace the heat exchanger at the same time.

You can bleed the system using STAR under the Motor Electronics/Actuations/Heat Exchanger Pump or use the Pelican Parts instructions on how to test a fuel pump on a non-E55 W211; that will point you to the heat exchanger coolant pump relay that you just jumper in order to circulate the water. Non-E55 = fuel pump. E55 = heat exchanger coolant pump.

I think it's still on the common replacement parts sticky thread.

Probably its the IC pump as mentioned above.
You could find it a locally, but it is 3x more expensive. Buy it online (~$120)

Sorry for the late reply. I changed the pump and works perfectly. Will upgrade heat exchanger soon then start adding power mods to it.

Just my 2 cents, but if you have not already done so, I would replace your IAT sensor. They go bad gradually with age. Swapping mine out made a huge difference, and our cars are the same age. It's like a $30 part you can replace yourself in around 20 minutes with normal hand tools. I think all I needed was a pair of wire cutters to be honest.

Worth doing as a maintenance item in my book. Woke my car up and mad it feel angry.
