rear sway bar part number?
i have a 06 clss 55, my bushings on the sway bar are cracked, and worn, links looking fatigued as well, i think this is one of the reasons why my cars rear sways so much when i hit a pot hole or un even pavement. ? what yall think? With that said im trying to source a new rear sway bar, everything im finding for my car is W/O airmatic or for a CLS 63? dont want to purchase the wrong one.
found this one
2113202711 on ebay for a cls 55 and says it fits, then another link says it doesnt. .

going to hold off on the sway bar, just read the subframe needs to be lowered to remove, going to spray the bushings with wurth, change the links, new all seasons tires, alignment, and hope for the best.

I had a weird feeling that something was loose in the rear end on my 07 E63. Especially when going over highway bumps. Well I had the rear sub frame bushings checked, and my feelings were correct. I had them all replaced under warranty. Otherwise that would have been expensive, as the drive shaft, exhaust and complete rear suspension had to come out. So please check your rear sub frame bushings as well.

i just pried on the sub frame bushings with a 3ft pry bar, those things are tight almost no give, some guys have videos of them moving significantly more, mine are in MUCH better shape.
everything in the rear is freaking tight, bought new sway bar end links, but upon removing my original ones and inspecting looks like i wasted my money because they are tight cant get them to move flex for the life of me. sway bar on the other hand i can move up and down a significant amount....
idk gonna throw the new links in, put the new rear tires on, and double check the rear suspension levels in STAR.
What is the purpose of the little rod on the sway bar in the middle?

just wanted to update the thread , so installed new rear sway bar links even though oems were in perfect working order, checked all bushings, changed the rear tires to all seasons.
Just leaving my driveway on the new tires i noticed that the rear of the car felt more relaxed, did a few pulls, hit all the potholes, and uneven pavement, car no longer is twitchy, and bump steering.
On the high way if i jerk the wheel left or right the rear doesnt feel like its wiggling/swaying any more, car actually drives 100% better, thank the lord.
maybe ill keep her one more year.
