Some exhaust & Cat advice PLEASE!
W211 E63 has about 80k miles.I have a feeling the Cats are starting to go. can see fibers starting to come out the seams of one of the main Cats/sulfur smell when i give it hell. I thought to myself that it would be time to just put long tube headers & high flow cats while eliminating the secondaries. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw how much to do headers/pipe & tune...about $6500. This is my summer car that I beat the ever living hell out of. I enjoy having fun in it, but cant seem to reason with myself to spend that kinda money. my other thought was to just delete cats & straight pipe it all the way back & tune...Any recommendations on box tunes? I thought i can just do this & add headers at later time if i was no happy with just piping it. any input & advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I look forward to my neighbors being upset...the reason i was thinking of tuning it was to keep the check engine away...ur AMG sounds mean as hell!!!

I was there last year. Felt like I had the only German car in the whole city...lol. Will definitely be attending again this year. There is also a weekend long Euro meet in Frankenmuth that I look forward to going to this year
