uninstalling lowering module

I had to pay a shop 300$ for the programa module install. I'm parting out my car and I no longer want the stupid voltage drain it causes my car to have. Is it it difficult to uninstall these modules??? because I would love to not have to pay anyone to uninstall it, defeats the purpose of a part out.

LOL that's exactly why I removed it from my car after 2 yeas of constantly charging the battery....even tried to fit a power on off switch but this created dash faults....took my time and used the instructions in reverse.......

wow that's bad...my car currently lasts 7-10 days...battery is new. prior to install on an older battery my car would last 2-4 weeks before the battery was drained. confirmed with some folks at mercedes that you should drive our car once a month at the latest as the keyless system puts a hug drain on the system.

at some point my battery would die after 2-4 days, after a bit of diagnostics, my local mercedes repair shop found out one of my central modules was not fully going to sleep causing the communications network to drain my battery. this was due to an incorrect setting within my OBD2 monitor (UltraGauge) which eventually caused that module to go haywire.

ya...removal is very easy...a couple of pins will need to be placed in their correct locations...if you download the programa elm install manual and work through it backwards you'll see what is needed. make sure you have the appropriate tools for pin removal. i believe you'll need a very thin pick.
