Needswings Intake Installed

Finally decided to install the intake. It was a pain to get that ypipe to sit properly on the throttle body after that the rest is fairly easy. I cant say I feel a power difference but i do hear air moving, more air sound coming from under the hood. In another week after im done installing my 76mm pulley and retune Ill put it on the dyno and see what she pulls. Not expecting any big numbers.

you won't gain a single thing and there is a good chance you will lose power

Those are a total waste of money and time

You will lose power, but gain sound (SC whine) with aftermarket intakes. The stock M113k intake is better than 99% of the aftermarket stuff. The exception is the Needswings intake. IIRC it's just as good or even slightly better than stock

LOL no the needswings intake is just as bad as the others, you will lose horsepower with it

The stock M113K airbox/intake is NOT a restriction and fine for all of the modified cars out there

There are a bunch of older threads regarding this. I haven't read them for a while but just about every custom design performed the same or more often worse than stock. I believe there were dyno's and flow testing involved. The stock design is pretty good, dual tubes, a pretty decent y-pipe and ducted cold air, hard to change without compromising on torque or power.
