Valve block

My front end dropped about an inch and a half overnight. The only thing I can think of that would drop it evenly is the valve block. Has anyone rebuilt one of these things before? I don't think I've even taken a close look at it. I just know it exists.

Yes, thank you! I forgot to hit the reply button earlier. If it turns out to be the sensor I'll just buy one, if it's the valve block... anybody heard of a rebuild kit?

I know the valve blocks on the cars with ABC can be rebuilt with new o-rings, not sure on Airmatic cars. Although I don't see why not...

I have not seen a rebuilt one, but when looking I found several on ebay for roughly $200 new.

mine is having the same problem on one corner in the front. i just replaced a blown strut (100% it was failed strut, there was a hole in the bladder) so i suspect that the valve block assembly cannot close the solenoid fully for this corner.

I checked ebay. Can't tell anything about the quality of the new ones. $263 on FCP Euro. Not as much as I expected. I'd still rather rebuild it with oem quality parts, but I guess that's out of reach
I expected the valve block to look like it had more solenoids on it. Only looks like one in the pictures. Maybe those are sold separately.

On the PDF from Hayseed that is listed as the pressure sensor, not a solenoid. Now I realize I don't understand the system like I thought I did. Hmmmmm.

if both fronts dropped the same amount maybe you could re calibrate the height via STAR, also run the diag test ,,, there is a thread floating around here from birdwell on how to do it
let us know how it works out - gl

I'll try to figure out the star thing, but it's going to have to wait. My time is triple booked right now, and two of my projects need to be done as soon as possible. If it gets any worse I'll have to drive a different car.
Thanks guys, I'll report back when I run the diagnostics.
