P2026-04 and p2007-008 codes help

changed fuel cap, checked evap valve using DAS and it ticking actuation ON and OFF test is ok. Fuel pumps and sender changed
after very hard acceleration to a stand still the idle is ruff and if you blip the throttle the engine pops and bangs through the exhaust. Switch the car on and off and everything returns to normal again until I do a hard run again 70mph.

On some rare occasions I get a CEL when using cruise control on the motorway 70-80mph, but put that down to the 82mm TB.

Driving around town on moderate acceleration the car is perfect. Although there is a strong gas smell from the filler cap area after the car is left idling for approx 15-30mins. never get vacuum suction when removing the gas cap.

I dont believe its the rear charcoal canister or a split pipe as that would be a different fault code right?

anyone had these issues, I can see alot of posts with some of these codes but no real fixes posted...................is the evap valve playing up even though it tests ok?

Tested as much as possible for leaks, wiring etc. Tested evap sensor for vacuum on and off and all good so not sure what the issue is.

Still getting the P0444 code for the evap sensor, but it tests fine in DAS, can feel it pulsing open and closed....clear the code and it comes back after a 15-30 minute drive.....Have ordered a new one but wont arrive for at least a couple of weeks from Germany before finding out if this is the fix.

Not getting a CEL.............has anyone had an evap sensor go intermittently faulty?
