Pistons will do zero for power. People really only change pistons to either allow more boost via strength and compression changes. Also, they are the least cost effective, since the motor will have to be completely torn down.

Cold air intake, throttle bodies, Headers, mufflers, tunes are probably the easiest mods, but they wont net much power with the exception of long tube headers, A few members have claimed 25-30hp with long tubes.

Typical motor mods generally include cams, and ported heads. Both of which are uncommon for the e55 as far as I know.

My friend tried porting and gone wrong , his mechanic told him to do only polishing but he insisted,

what internal changes I should do to increase the boost to the maximum safely

Tune pulley headers and cooling is the best and easiest way to make power

If you've done all that and still want more, time to buy a cts-v or w213 e63

Up the compressor ratio by switching over to an NA block, a few threads around here on it.

Also several threads around here on changing gears. Most guys end up going back to stock it seems. I haven't read them in a while but upping the gears puts the fourth gear shift right at the end of the 1/4 mile killing the ET... if 1/4 mile is what you're looking for.

+1 you can make the E55 very fast but there are much better options out there. Traction and cooling becomes a huge issue, finding am AWD platform with turbos would be ideal. Are you drag racing or just street?

It is easy to get a bit more power out of these cars but it becomes difficult to get a lot.

Still street , can’t go to drag racing knowing i don’t have a chance to win
I agree with you on traction LSD is a good idea and still researching Bout the widest i can go (offset and tire size) with out rubbing

I can tell by your question …..you are NOT going to change the block. Actually there is no reason to change the block. Pistons...yes, for more compression. Cost would be huge to go down that road though.
Put headers on it , crank boost to 14-15lb's, add extra intercooler, mod the supercharger cooler, add ice tank for the track and a small shot of nitrous. You will be very happy.

I have this extra crazy idea
i know a guy he used 63 pistons and ported the block but failed
so what if i used the block and pistons of 63

And the single cam heads of the M113? Sounds like a perfect match. I'm sure the oil water bolt holes and cylinders line up. The answer is to be happy with the confines of the M113 or change platform.

Changing the whole car is going to be difficult
but finding a used engine and part it use what i need and sell the rest for sure will be cheaper than a new car with new unknown problems and fixes

I'm sorry to say, that plan with engine mix and matching will not work. If it could, chances are the machine work and custom parts required to make it work would cost more than the car.

I should also point out that air flow and hence power is created in the head, not the block. Changing blocks and pistons won't get you far.
