E55 driving lights

I am going to replace my driving lights as the lens are beat up, that fine sand blasting look. I was looking at these:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Mercede...oAAOSwZJlXNbdw

https://www.ebay.com/b/Fog-Driving-L...1444735?_pgn=3

These are plastic;

Also I would like to put in brighter bulbs, ideas?

Maybe you consider these DRL. May need to convert to 63 bumper though. Gary Lo will start a preorder list for WALD DRL soon.

But whatever you decide, I highly recommend that you have these fog lights wrapped in paint protection film (PPF).
Or they will end up looking like the ones your removing. I had mine wrapped when, I replaced them due to cracked lenses from road debris.

I have the film to wrap them, ready to go!

I have the E55 front end so those lights won't work. The front end of your car really looks good!

They should, I had bulbs like those on my stock bumper and fit perfectly with no flicker. Make sure they’re CanBUS ready.

I don't think so. I don't see any mention of them being canbus friendly. Yeah, you can find them brighter but mine are plenty bright. There is a point of being obnoxious with excessive lumens. I don't want to be that guy. Now if your out in the sticks, then by all means go brighter. JMO

I don't use my fog lights unless I'm out in the sticks so...

Also, not to be a thorn in your side but what about the headlights?

LOL
I'm running 50w 4500K HID's in the halogen factory projector. A H7 conversion from DDM (also canbus friendly). Fairly straight forward install. https://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php

My brights are LED

They take some customizing.

The ones I posted are 50W and the ones you posted are 35W yet yours are brighter, must be more efficient.
