Need a little help with maintenance

I need a new steering rack. Found a few on pelican parts, but can't find the right mounting bushings. Tried FCP but nothing fits. Love that company but their website drives me nuts every time. Do I have to go to the dealer? Uuuugh

Try the dealer buddy. They are pretty reasonable with stuff like that and I know my dealer pricing is almost lower than what online places, including Ebay, sell for.

I do when I have to, as a last resort. I'm not worried about the price, it's their conduct I don't approve of. they have shown themselves to be crooked in the past so I keep my dealings to a minimum.

Are you looking for just the bushings or the entire rack? I can send you part numbers. Just have to know what you need.

I need a rebuilt rack, and I wanted to install it with new mounting bushings. I've got a bunch of maintenance to do
part #s would be great for the bushings, thanks.

Rockauto has OE steering racks which is Bilstein: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...31843&jsn=2248

Might be easier to find one used or even have yours rebuilt.

Bushings look to be part of the unit itself.

Thanks, but I was going to get a rebuilt one at half the cost, only around 500. Seems unlikely that it will come with new bushings, but you never know.

My only complaint with pelican is slow shipping, mostly due to the distance, but I'm not in a hurry. I have a long list of things that don't seem new anymore.

The link I sent is an actual MB dealership parts dept too. some of lowest prices i've found around. For example the camshafts are $230-250 less for each than any other site (from MSRP).
