hit 100k miles and a noticed the front left on the cement a week later. limped 5mph half a mile to respected indy mb shop they said needs new front shocks they wont activate/inflate with their STAR system.

i want to do the arnott coilover kit though and remove air suspension completely.

ive watched mulitple videos and read multiple DIY instructions, but i want to confirm - - is STAR needed at anytime during the process?

the kit comes with the bypass module which ive seen a video on how to install. all the videos end with "lower the car and get alignment".
