This vibration or small mechanical movement is felt on my gas pedal on 2012 e350 convertible 36k miles and e350 coupe 42k miles where motor and transmission mounts have been changed, suspension inspected and all parts replaced, new tires and alignment including a thorough under carriage inspection. The other day I drove the wife's 2015 ML350 with 52k miles and I felt the same- wife doesn't feel it so I guess some people's feet are more sensitive than others. All 3 cars exhibit the same sensation. I have read just about every article scoured on the internet. Preplexing!

have the same problem. When the car is cold,Is making really shaky movements by idle, but the moment I drive it a little, the idle is getting smoother.I mean I can feel it by the end but is so minimum, like it should.
what I did to find the problem but failed miserably..
-motor mounts and trans mount (maybe I will change them again with the black series mounts)
-MAF Sensor
-timing chain was inspected but seems fine
-many oil changes(maybe something internal is failing but everything was clean)
-throttle inspected and cleaned
-not a single error code
if someone has a solution or an idea to help because I’m thinking to dissemble the motor apart and hope to find the problem at least.

hey there I’M having the same problem on my E350 2009 it’s at 190000KM i found out a broken bolt mount on the passenger side and got it replaced with a oem but the problem is still there when i put in D it starts vibrating and when its neutral it just goes away changed the sparkplugs coolent flush is done but the problem is still there just wondering it could be the transmission mount since the vibration is only on D
please let me know if anyone has figured out this thankyou

Yeah, I always replace motor mounts as a pair. In fact, I would also recommend changing out the trans mount when replacing the motor mounts as they work as a system.Originally Posted by W211E350-2009
