E55 AMG Fuel Pump Relay upgrade/replacement? AEM pumps

Hey, I had some fuel issues a while back. I have 2 AEM 340LPH pumps in the car now, and back to the stock wiring harness/tophat. I keep melting the relay on the actual harness itself in the trunk. I've gone through two of the relays with the same issue happening after driving the car for over 2 hours.

Is there an upgrade socket/relay that I could sauder/crimp onto the existing wiring?

Those are serious pumps and draw a lot. Have you checked the draw on those compared to the OEM pumps? Unless you are running E85 you are "over pumped". I would guess those pumps, not the relay is the problem.

I guess I shouldve said they were in the car when I got it. Was having fuel issue, top-hat wires were burnt up so I replaced those along with AEM pumps, fuel filters, fuses, new harness attachment...

I could retune and only run E85 on the E55 as it isn't my daily, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it.

The amps/volts are definitely higher than stock. I'm just curious if there's a way to rewire the current setup so that it stops melting the relay.

Thanks

I personally would replace them. Replace them with something that has less draw. If you just fix the relay issue you may get wiring issues further down the line. Why are you running this much pump? What are your mods?

FBO makes around 530whp and 600ftlb. I have stock pumps but I'm thinking of getting a new socket and another relay and seeing if that will help. Maybe the socket itself needs to be replaced
