Dealer I've bought from a few times has a 2003 E55 (90k miles) for 10,700 or a 2004 E55 (170k) for 7,000 for sale. Both are 2 owner former CPO vehicles. The 03 was actually owned by our neighbor (didn't know this until he had already sold it) and he owned it for about 13 years. The '04 was owned by the second owner for the last 14 years also owned locally.

The 03 has had engine mounts and bosch pump put on it in the last 6 months. The 04 just had control arms replaced just last month. Both have had regular maint. done by the local indy shop and the MB dealership (while under warranty).

What would you guys look for and do you think they are good deals? This would be a second car so not a ton of mileage annually in the future (8-12k year).

I would go for the lower mileage 03 out of those two. Otherwise hold out for a lower mileage 04-06 but 03's are good cars, just check the radiator.
