E55 Cold start with ARH catless longtubes,,Resonator delete into 2010 C63 muffs...Car is loud when initially started but gets very quiet at warm idle..However if you give it the beans at all regardless of temp it sounds like the gates of hell open up..

What if he won't budge, then you have no recourse but to buy the complete exhaust. Good luck in wearing him down.

so it looks like i am going to get the mufflers at the price i want. he's going to have to separate them from the system. he asked me where i wanted them cut. to be honest, i have no idea, so would someone who's done the mod or knows be able to show me please?
cheers.

When I bought mine I had about 6 inches of pipe sticking out of the inlet side of the mufflers and it worked out great. Gave my exhaust guy plenty to work with. I think he cut about 2 inches off that. There is a hanging support that needs to be cut off and a new one will need to be welded on as the oem supports are in dufferent spots. Your install guy should be able to make those changes. When I get home I can try and send you pics from under my car. PM me your phone number and I'll text the pics to ya.
