04 w211 E55 AMG Mercedes Brake problems... the front stuck now the back... help?
Hi. Hopefully someone can help with this situation. my wife wad driving me E55 the other day, upon coming home I noticed there was smoke coming from the car. It smelled like clutch but obviously it's an automatic, so when she was done driving I started to investigate and noticed the front driver side wheel was extraordinary hot, leading me to believe that the caliper was stuck. she went on to explain that it was running weird I.E. pulling and vibrating. Leading me to further believe that it was the brake grabbing. IT WAS. I took the wheel off and caliper. And proceeded to lubricated everything then put it back together, everything worked just fine a few days, then a few more days later upon her coming home, same problem but it is now the rear driver side wheel that was seemingly completely locked up as the rim was hot to the touch... Susannah overwhelmingly burning brake smell.... could anybody please help me figure out why it is doing this repeatedly? I would really appreciate any help anybody could give me, thank you for your time.

It is obviously that the ABS/SBC is the culprit here. As the SBC interprets your input pressure to the brake pedal via brake by wire, then sends hydraulic fluid to actuate the caliper, and then it's not releasing pressure.
I would have a shop scan the system for faults, and reset adaptation of the unit.
