Conductor plate.... first guess. But also check fluid and condition, check TCU for oil contamination. Start there.

Got the same issue, most likely TCU is contaminated with oil. If so going redo pilot bushing/tranny plug. Had a previous Tuned TCU that I switched out with same issue and installed stock TCU. Deja vu!

Tranny still acting up with same symptoms as OP. Gonna change shift solenoid along with conductor plate and valve body plus flush the ATF. Hopefully that will get me back on the road again.

Ive narrowed my issue down to the conductor plate of y3/6n2-3 of RPM sensors and shift solenoid valves y3/6y3-5 and maybe 1 & 2. So pretty all the solenoids replace for safe measures. Getting a new conductor plate from pelican parts tomorrow and popping it in and changing solenoids from an used E500. Hopefully they’ll work. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Quick update, so started out this morning with a tranny flushed and with lots of prayers, tranny is back on track! Flushed about 9 liters and installed stock TCU back on and she is moving. So glad I don’t have to pull VB or CP!

Wanna give a big thanks to DJ Drothgeb for all his help and guidance!!!!

I did have a tuned TCU. Not sure if that’s the reason tranny acting up. Mostly likely speed sensors and shift solenoids were filthy.

Your tranny still go on limp mode with new code? Have you flush tyranny fluids? That fixed mine limped issue. Ran her on a dyno yesterday with no issue
