Well, I've always had good experiences with my previous MB's at the MB of Palm Beach.

I would also try MB Ft Lauderdale and MB Miami.

Stay away from Autohaus Pompano at all costs. they are terrible.

True... Go to the dealership and negotiate the price of the vehicle you want, then, as you are taking care of the paperwork, bring up the trade-in.

If you bring up the trade-in first, he will work you both ways.. I would recommend selling the Cayenne privately and LEASE the E55, otherwise you are going to lose MORE money when you go to sell the E55.

Sales at MB of Palm Beach is good but their service is the pits. Also, give a call to Coggin in Fort Pierce. They are hungry to sell cars and would likely give you the best price if you play hardball with them. Ask for Steve Staples at Coggin.

Agreed.. The farther North you go in Florida (e.g., Stuart, Ft. Pierce) the better deals you will received on luxury vehicles as the dealers from WPB to Miami receive so much business they could care less about extending you a decent deal.

You could try Formula One Sportscars. They are a family business thats been around for over 30 years and they almost always have an E55 on hand. They are on Bird Road and about 30th Avenue. Never had a problem with them with over 25 cars purchased from them.

One thing to note. If you are going to get the car serviced at a particular dealer, it helps to have bought the car from them. For example, at Autohaus Pompano, if you bought the car from them, they give you a MB loaner. If you bought elsewhere, you get an Enterprise voucher.

Autohaus can be tough but if you do want to check with them, PM me. I will give you the name of a salseman that will try hard to work for you or tell you honestly if he just can't do anything. (the problem there is that many times it's as if the management feels you should thank your lucky stars that they are going to let you buy a car from them)

You should not have a problem with any of the sales people at any of the South Florida dealerships when buying a mainstream model (save the SL500 when a new model comes out.) It's when you try to buy a "special" car that you will find the experience different.

This is not to say I don't think your E500 is a nice car or anything. It's just MBUSA that seems to think the AMG cars are made of platinum or something.

i know what you mean. my sticker price for my e500 was 75,000. i custom ordered it. even though it was a sports package i wanted all wooden inetrior instead of aluminum. for example they wanted to put an alumnum shift knob. i had them change it to wood.

the sales people really got things done when i need it, even though i had a 5 month wait.

check out thread for more pics of my car...

1) No Mercedes dealer in Stuart. 2) Go to Mercedes of Palm Beach at the end of the month, you will get a much better deal than at Coggin.

MB of Pembroke Pines

I highly recommend going to MB of Pembroke Pines. Ask for Frank Fiametta who is the internet sales manager. Gave me a great deal on my CLK 500, and my father's SL 55. As for their service, I really cant say bc I take my car to Autohaus due to it being the closest dealer to Boca. In my opinion, Autohaus should be torn down, and all of its sales/service staff be sent to Guantanomo Bay, but Ill one day detail all of my rants against them in a thread in the Off-Topic Section.
