How to remove veins from supercharger.

Hey guys I want to go thru my blower with a fine-tooth comb before it goes onto new motor. So far everything's been smooth sailing, I have the front half of snout off and the 2 C clips removed from the rear bearings. Trying to figure out how to get the rear half of the snout to separate with the veins from the blower housing, rear bearings. Trying to break it down as pictured

I took a grinder to my puller and made the jaws so they would catch on those inner bearing races of the rear bearings.
The gear end shouldn't need to come apart. the shafts are peened to keep it together, and I haven't seen a source for those bearings. Have you?

what i am trying to do, is it even possible to separate and then put back together with out replacing anything?? i found this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...filling-7.html , some good info, but doesn't explain how to separate the 2. im not trying to do anything with the bearings, just want to make sure i dont have any aluminum shavings and or debree from when the engine blew, as i found a few specs of aluminum in the intercooler.

so i got it apart, still have grease in bearings, so thats good. also found a few metals chips embedded into the gold side vein. if i remove them and lightly sand the area will it be ok? lastyl what grease goes in the rear bearings? figured i would re pack them while its out.

It takes a pretty special grease, there's a whole thread on superchargers around here somewhere. Called diy supercharger oil refilling or something similar. It's really important not to put too much grease in those bearings. If you do the inner races will spin inside the needles, instead of the needles spinning around inside the outer race. Too much resistance for them to plow through the grease at high speed. I hope you take the same care with the new motor. There aren't too many cars that can take the place of a good condition CLS55.

ordered mobil jet oil 2, and some eaton bearing grease, so when applying the grease, make sure the rollers are exposed, and only back grease in between the rollers?

Pull a google search on "roller bearing grease quantity" and you will find multiple sources of information. It's not nearly as much grease as you would think.

"To calculate grease quantity, you need the bearing's physical dimensions (primarily the outside diameter and width). Once you have these two measurements (in inches), you multiply them together and then multiply by 0.114. The resulting answer is the grease quantity in ounces. "

Are you talking about the rear bearings or the ones for the gearset?

If you fill half the bearing completely full, you should have enough room. It can push a little out when there is space. Takes a glob about the size of a peanut.
