My pulleys have been eating belts lately. I've replaced 4 belts so far and thankfully AutoZone keeps exchanging them. I've finally gone ahead and ordered the replacement kit from FCP Euro and in the meantime took all the old idler pulleys off. While looking through all of the disgusting gunk hidden behind the pulleys, I noticed a hose. A broken hose. Pretty massive break, honestly. I'm not entirely sure what caused it, how long it's been there, or what damage it's been doing to the engine thus far, but it's there and I have no idea what it is or does. Can anyone help? I've attached a diagram of the front of the engine with the hose highlighted in red, as well as a picture of the actual hose and the damage. Shout out to my Pixel 4 for the awesome and depressing shot.
