RennTech kit comes complete with high flow performance filter inserts and anodized aluminum MAF sensor retaining clips. Using the highest quality pre-preg carbon fiber, our 4-piece airbox kit for the 63 series biturbo M157 engine comes complete with flow optimized turbo tubes to maximize engine performance by increasing the volume of incoming airflow. The carbon fiber airbox was designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA using only industry leading materials to ensure long lasting durability and appearance. The Carbon Fiber Air Box kit includes a Set of 2 BMC high performance air filter. RennTech electronic engine management started to show up in vehicles during the mid 1980's. The R2 performance package includes proprietary ECU tune in addition to our full carbon fiber airbox, 82mm throttle body kit and RennTech stainless steel headers for a gain of +59 HP and +53 TQ over stock. The addition of the upgradation helps the engine to perform well and better. The RennTech R3 Performance Package is the perfect entry level performance upgrade for the E 63 AMG. The R3 performance package 3 includes everything found in our performance package 2 plus our stainless steel long tube headers for more performance and sound, our 100% locking limited slip differential to improve handling and traction in addition to our transmission performance upgrade. RennTech transmission upgrade consists of a complete transmission disassembly and inspection as well as a mechanical upgrade to the transmission clutch packs. This allows us the ability to maximize the amount of friction materials contained within the transmission and in turn, the amount of power which can be transmitted through each forward gear. During final assembly the transmission also receives all new gaskets, seals, o-rings as well as a new transmission pan filter. RennTech Mercedes Transmissions increased engine performance it becomes necessary to further improve the drive line components, most importantly the transmission in order to ensure maximum power is transmitted to the drive wheels without transmission slippage. This can not be realized with software and only truly be accomplished by an internal mechanical upgrade to the transmission hardware. Renntech V3 Digital Suspension Lowering Module

The RennTech V3 Digital Lowering Module (DLM) is designed to work with all available Mercedes Airmatic or ABC (Hydraulic) Suspensions.The unit allows the user to have full control over all four corners of the vehicle’s suspension and adjust in 1mm increments. The DLM requires no splicing or soldering to the factory wiring harness. The RennTech harness utilizes the factory pins as to allow a completely reversible installation. The unit also supports speed-dependant lowering that allows the vehicle to return to its factory ride-height at a pre-set speed. This removes the need for the vehicle to be aligned after lowering. The user can maintain the factory longevity and still have the lowered look at low speeds. All RennTech DLMs are adjustable via USB using either Windows or Android OS.The software allows the user to adjust the ride-height at each corner in 1mm increments independently.The software also has three locations where the user can store pre-configured suspension setups for quick changes.

Renntech Locking Limited Slip Differential

Simply explained, a differential is the last point between the engine and the wheels where power is transferred. The differential functions as a system to direct engine power at the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds. By upgrading the differential, you benefit in both straight line stability and vehicle handling while cornering. During a full power straight line run, RennTech LSD (limited slip differential) will lock 100% and provide torque equally to each powered wheel, providing stable straight line runs. When exiting from a corner, RennTech LSD's transition to the full 100% lock position is smooth and predictable. This gives the vehicle better traction and stability throughout the corner, improving overall lap times and a noticeable improvement in overall vehicle handling. The track is not the only place where the differential comes into play though. Bad weather and harsh road conditions can make the street a dangerous place. In snow, ice, wet weather and regions where the road surface can become unstable, our LSD easily adapts and adjusts tire rotation to increase vehicle stability on the road and help to dramatically improve driver safety. RennTech differential is a unique, patented, clutch- type LSD which makes this a true100% locking differential. Because of this function, there is no movement of internal parts, leading to less heat being generated while in operation and in turn, less wear of the friction disks.

Ceramic coating also increases exhaust-gas velocity as hotter gasses expand quicker allowing them to travel faster. RennTech proprietary 82mm Performance Throttle body package offers a 22% increase of incoming air volume. This translates into a noticeable gain in both overall performance and throttle response with a performance increase of 11hp & 8 lb/ft. RennTech throttle body assemblies were designed and engineered in house and a re a bolt on component requiring no modifications to the intake manifold. Our throttle assemblies feature a machined billet aluminum housing with custom designed air velocity stacks and all necessary hardware/ electrical connectors to make installation a snap.

Renntech Performance Torque Converter Upgrade

The RennTech lock-up clutch upgrade uses a multi-element clutch upgrade with additional layer of friction material between the clutch plate, better friction material on the clutch face and a larger surface area of friction material to help control slippage. This allows for better heat management and increased holding power. While slippage in the torque converter is important under acceleration, this slippage becomes a liability once cruising speed is achieved. The lock-up clutch controls this slippage and creates a solid connection between the engine and transmission. If the load on the clutch is too much, slippage can occur leading to excessive heat and wear.
