New to me 06 E55 with tons of mods
Just sold my BMW E38 M7 build on Bringatrailer and bought this as a DD along with a 1984 Nissan DR30 Skyline. This is only my second MB as I did have an 07 E63 AMG for a year.
2006 E55 in Designo Mocha black metallic with the two tone interior. Built by Ahmad/BlackBenz/EastCoastEuro and mods include Weistec 2.9L whipple, Weistec twin pump water to air intercooler, Snow performance meth system, American racing headers, race cats, full exhaust and ADV1 wheels.
Just had the car polished and ceramic coated. I also ordered solid billet engine mounts with poly rod inserts, carbon e63 trunk spoiler, side skirt extensions and finned rear diffuser. The previous owner let me have the new E63 front bumper kit and carbon lip so I will have the bumper painted soon.

Thank you! I hadn't updated my profile in years so fixed that. I do miss that V70R though. Had a ton of mods when I sold it and was a great car.
The BMW E38 M7 I just sold on BAT was a big favorite but the Nissan Z31 currently underway is the ultimate project of my life. I just can't own anything without modifying it..
Here are the other current cars. I am selling the HR31 Skyline since I bought the 84 DR30 in Japan though.

Very nice car. I was following the bidding on your BMW on BAT. Great result on that auction.

That is a very nice E55 with some very expensive mods! You plan on taking it to the strip?
I'm digging that hardbody too!
Curious about the Japanese imports, I've been itching for a 2nd gen MR2, do you go through a particular company or do you import them yourself?

I am just outside of Richmond.
I recently found out that the buyer of my BMW was offered $75k from a guy who wasn't able to bid that day. And he turned it down! Very cool.
They are ADV1 wheels but I need to find out which model. I like them pretty well but want to get the faces redone. I don't like the flat black.
I use Japan Parts Service to import all my parts and since I found the car myself and had it inspected myself, they just handled the transaction and importation/shipping/paperwork. They charge a fee and actual costs.
I don't know if I would ever take the car to the strip. I really just cruise in it as a DD but love having that juice when I need it! I am just blown away by how incredible this car is in every possible way.

I watched that auction intently. It was by far the best work of art I have ever seen on BAT, so very awesome the buyer kept it (and hopefully enjoys it thoroughly). Wish all sellers were like you and BC928 on BAT.

I would love to see what the E55 does on a dyno. I like the Z, I own a highly modified FD.
You aren't very far away, as I live in tidewater.

Beautiful car! As a previous Volvo owner, I perked up when I saw V70R mentioned. I had a handful of 850R's and one saffron '98 V70R. What did you have?

I am a sucker for a T5R in cream yellow!! That was my first real love for a car. I got my license in 95 and saw the cream yellow T5R estate on the lot and the want was so very strong.
I had an 04 with tons of mods. Pics below.
Plan on doing the engine mounts in the E55 today and maybe the rear diffuser too.
