Has anyone sent out there front air struts to get rebuilt. I found a site rebuild master tech that will rebuild your struts for 325. Any suggestions I want to be able to keep the adjustment settings.

I got rebuilt struts here in good old Africa, so far they been good to me.. Nearly half the price of factory new ones. Worth it.

Arnott says that both the new and reman versions retain ADS. When I need to, I am going to get the remans, just because it saves a couple hundred bucks and they both have lifetime warranties

The rear ones aren't equipped with an extra reservoir so it's actually impossible they maintan all of the functions of SAS/ADS suspension in E55, Don't know about the front ones.
Also AFAIK Arnott doesn't reman the shock absorber, so going for rebuilt ones (stayng with SAS/ADS) you never know what you'll get.
Anyway if I'd live in US I'd also go with Arnotts. Here in Europe (Poland) it's a different story (Africa probably too). Arnotts are expensive here (ca 740$) and there's no lifetime warranty. On the other side we have a lot of shops specialized in refurbishing air struts for years.

my left front failed and a local shop wanted around 500 for one arnott and then 200 for install . .
they also suggested doing both the fronts at the same time so i was looking at over $1000 bill....
at $600+ per wheel i decided to remove the entire air suspension and install arnott's coilover conversion kit instead. it is apparently the only coilover kit that doesnt need special control arms if i did my research correctly.

it cost me about $1700 total but i just kept thinking at 700/corner i would spend 2800 over time replacing them because i plan to keep the car for a long long time.
i cant raise and lower the car anymore but playing with that button always felt like playing with a grenade to me.
arnott picked a great ride height it seems somewhere inbetween old levels 1 and 2
the car drives way better than it ever did on air! way better! taking turns at speed is now...possible!
and i will now never be trapped/stuck/ever have to worry about this air suspension ever again haha
